Our Clients

Our clients are varied; from corporate executives, time poor business owners, growing families, the disabled to the elderly. Below we have described a few of our client experiences and moves we’ve completed.

A Corporate Executive

Diana Lew is an extremely busy corporate executive with a young family.

The Challenge – To ensure a seamless transition from Richmond to Hawthorn while Diana went to work on both days of the move i.e. packing takes place on day 1 and moving and unpacking takes place on day 2.

The solution – As Diana was not going to be present when our team of Angels arrived on packing day we emailed her a comprehensive series of questions so that she could provide us with information of her requirements in advance. Diana also provided us with a floor plan so that we could assist the removalists with placement of furniture.

To ensure a seamless transition Diana and her family stayed a night at a hotel whilst Moving Angels managed the entire move and worked with the removal company.

The results – The day before her move Diana’s home was packed and labelled as per her instructions ready for collection by her removalist. On move day her new home was completely unpacked with all rooms set up, beds made, lamps on and cartons removed by 4pm. Later that day, Diana and her family arrived at their new home which was completely set up, organised and totally functional.

This is what Diana had to say “Extremely personal service. I could have been as far away as I wanted and you accommodated. You have so much common sense and experience that trust was never in question.”

An Elderly Couple

Mrs Hocking is a sprightly lady in her early eighties caring for her husband.

The Challenge – To move the Hocking’s from their large family home in Canterbury where they resided for over 40 years to a much smaller apartment in a retirement complex. Minimum disruption to their routine and extra attention to displaying and arranging their collectables in the new apartment was a must.

The solution – Six ladies packed the family home in 4 hours the day before the move. However instead of having six ladies unpack the next day, the unpacking process was split over two days. Three ladies arrived on move day and unpacked the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The next day, three ladies returned and unpacked the remainder of the Hocking’s personal effects such as books, china, crystal, pictures and decorator items.

The results – For the Hocking’s this was a much calmer transition as time was taken on the second day of unpacking to display their precious items such as family heirlooms and special mementos from their years of travel.

This is what Mrs Hocking had to say “The efficiency of the whole operation couldn’t have been better. I appreciated the time and consideration given to the job both before and during the move.”

A Working Mum With 2 Young Children

The Challenge – Relocating a growing family as quickly and efficiently as possible with minimal interruption to the children’s routine.

The solution - Three Angels packed and unpacked the home. Mum, Ceinwen McNeil’s unpacking priority was the setting up of the children’s rooms.

The results – When the girls came home at the end of the move day they fell in love with their rooms and were able to settle into their new home immediately.

This is what Ceinwen had to say “As the busy working Mum of two young children (aged 6 and 2 ½ yrs) working with Moving Angels was like a dream come true. I couldn’t believe how professional the team was and how smoothly the move went with the girl’s bedrooms completely sorted by the time they got home.”
