An Elderly Couple

Mrs Hocking is a sprightly lady in her early eighties caring for her husband.

The Challenge – To move the Hocking’s from their large family home in Canterbury where they resided for over 40 years to a much smaller apartment in a retirement complex. Minimum disruption to their routine and extra attention to displaying and arranging their collectables in the new apartment was a must.

Three ladies arrived on move day and unpacked the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. The next day, three ladies returned and unpacked the remainder of the Hocking’s personal effects such as books, china, crystal, pictures and decorator items.

The results – For the Hocking’s this was a much calmer transition as time was taken on the second day of unpacking to display their precious items such as family heirlooms and special mementos from their years of travel.

This is what Mrs Hocking had to say “The efficiency of the whole operation couldn’t have been better. I appreciated the time and consideration given to the job both before and during the move.”
